Iguana iguana

Many people hate reptiles, particularly crocs and lizards...
This one is the Green Iguana (Iguana iguana), non-native of Singapore (North American native i guess), but a pair found in wild in Sungei Buloh Wetlands (second pic); First one was taken in Jurong Birdpark
Reminded of colors again, on seeing these creatures, they have fascinating colours, bright in adult probably !!!

Nice shot, specially the first one.. the second one looks far from the camera? Are these dangerous to humans, i mean are they harmful and is that the reason u had to stay back and click?

Thanx naikutti :-) the second one is actually cropped and so you are right, i was really far (i used 300mm lens) The iguana was actually standing and staring a huge monitor lizard (udumbu)in front of it. It is kinda nasty situation to go near and disturb their staring fight. They are not very dangerous, but their bite can be nasty and a bit poisonous.
